League of Legends

League of Legends  is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows and macOS.  In League of Legends, players assume the role of an unseen “summoner” that controls a “champion” with unique abilities and battle against a team of other players or computer-controlled champions. The goal is usually to destroy the opposing team’s “nexus”, a structure which lies at the heart of a base protected by defensive structures, although other distinct game modes exist as well.

 

PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS

PUBG is a competitive survival last man standing shooter. Up to 100 Players are dropped into a fully open 8x8km island, where they must fight each other until only one player/team remains alive. Players begin the match without any items, but can search to find weapons, vehicles, and gear. In order to speed up the match, the battlefield will begin to shrink, forcing players to encounter other hostile players while trying to stay within the shrinking safe area. Apart from solo matches, the game also allows for cooperative play for players to team up into groups of 2 or 4

 

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Global Offensive is similar to that of the previous games in Counter-Strike series in the sense that it is an objective-based multiplayer first-person shooter. Players play as one of two teams; the Terrorists or the Counter Terrorists, with both teams having different objectives: the Terrorists’ being to plant the bomb and have it explode or to protect the hostages, depending on the map, and the Counter-Terrorists’ being to prevent the bomb from being planted and exploding, or to rescue the aforementioned hostages. At the start of every round players get the opportunity to purchase weapons and equipment with their money that is awarded based on their performance in the previous round.

Dark Souls III

Dark Souls III is an action role-playing game played in a third-person perspective, similar to previous games in the series. Players are equipped with a variety of weapons to fight against enemies, such as bows, throwable projectiles, and swords. Shields can act as secondary weapons but they are mainly used to deflect enemies’ attacks and protect the player from suffering damage. Throughout the game, players encounter different types of enemies, each with different behaviors. Some of them change their combat pattern during battles. 

HearthStone

Hearthstone, originally known as Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, is a free-to-play online collectible card video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. Hearthstone builds upon the already existing lore of the Warcraft series by using the same elements, characters, and relics. The game is a turn-based card game between two opponents, using constructed decks of thirty cards along with a selected hero with a unique power. Players use mana points to cast spells or summon minions to attack the opponent, with the goal to reduce the opponent’s health to zero. Winning matches can earn in-game gold, rewards in the form of new cards, and other in-game prizes. Players can then buy packs of new cards through gold or microtransactions to customize and improve their decks.

Destiny

Destiny is an online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Activision.  Set in a “mythic science fiction” world, the game features a multiplayer “shared-world” environment with elements of role-playing games. Activities in Destiny are divided among player versus environment (PvE) and player versus player (PvP) game types. Players take on the role of a Guardian, protectors of Earth’s last safe city as they wield a power called Light to protect the City from different alien races. Guardians are tasked with reviving a celestial being called the Traveler, while journeying to different planets to investigate and destroy the alien threats before humanity is completely wiped out.

DOTA 2

Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game developed and published by Valve Corporation. Dota 2 is played in matches between two teams that consist of five players, with both teams occupying their own separate base on the map. Each of the ten players independently control a powerful character, known as a “hero”, that each feature unique abilities and different styles of play. During a match, a player and their team collects experience points and items for their heroes in order to fight through the opposing team’s defenses. A team wins by being the first to destroy a large structure located in the opposing team’s base, called the “Ancient”.

Overwatch

Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. It was released in May 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Overwatch assigns players into two teams of six, with each player selecting one of 24 pre-defined hero characters with unique movement, attributes, and abilities whose roles are divided into four categories: Offense, Defense, Tank, and Support. Players on a team work together to secure and defend control points on a map and/or escort a payload across the map in a limited amount of time.

H1Z1: King of the Kill

H1Z1: King of the Kill is a fast-paced, fight-to-the-death shooter, where players compete in large-scale, chaotic PVP spectacles of skill & wit.

Players fight against each other in solo or team-based matches, in rule-based Skirmishes, or in global events and tournaments. Whether players possess skill, luck, or a little of both, only one can prevail to stand alone at the top of the podium.

World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft (WoW) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released in 2004 by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the fourth released game set in the fantasy Warcraft universe. As with other MMORPGs, players control a character avatar within a game world in third- or first-person view, exploring the landscape, fighting various monsters, completing quests, and interacting with non-player characters (NPCs) or other players. To enter the game, the player must select a server, referred to in-game as a realm. Each realm acts as an individual copy of the game world and falls into one of four categories.
